I have been working to loose weight, and one of the basic keys for weight loss is a food ledger. This is my daily record of foods I have eaten, the time I ate each item, and, when known, their calorie content.

Spaghetti + Brownie

Just finished eating about 2 cups of spaghetti with tomato sauce and meat, with cheese sprinkled over top of it for dinner.

Dessert is going to be a brownie.

I just realized that I forgot to take my One-A-Day multivitamin and Ginkoba pill this morning. So much for the Ginkoba helping with memory - I forgot to take it. lol

8 Chocolate Chip Cookies

Okay, stress hit the high point and I have just finished wolfing down a plate of 8 chocolate chip cookies. Did not want to binge on them, but if you have ever hit the overload point on stress and are a stress eater then you'll understand. What someone wants to do, and what they NEED to do are not always the same. There's something about hot chocolate chip cookies that soothes the soul in a way that nothing else can.

Having a Chocolate Royal Slim Fast shake made with powdered mix and fat free milk for breakfast. The Chocolate Royal is about the only one that is really any good in my humble opinion, although the cappuccino that they have out is tasty too, but I can only find it occasionally and then only in pre-mixed cans, never in powdered form.

Attack of the junk food

Can not resist... it's like a Dalek invasion force! Junk food - it has me!

Quarter to five in the morning and here I am, watching Doctor Who and the munchies hit hard. I'd go to bed if I did not have to stay up to make sure the heater stays going. Which leaves me at the mercy of a chocolate bar, a cream filled oatmeal cookie, a brownie and a Ferrero Rocher... ohhh.... Ferrero Rocher. Who needs to diet anyway?

This is when I am always at my weakest and the junk food can get to me. Between midnight and whenever I can get to sleep. Feel cool wind... posting this, getting heater relit, then watching second half of Doctor Who - Daleks in Manhattan... will sleep after that if heater is still lit.

Munchies cure = Portwine cheese with almond slivers on crackers

Roughly 2 tablespoons of portwine cheese ball with almond slivers, roughly 100 calories, and 7 club crackers - I'm not sure how many calories they are -- probably about 500 knowing my luck. Ah well, tis tasty and I am up for a while longer and want something to nibble on. Munchies attack is driving me crazy here.

Chocolate - 0.5 oz

Okay, stress is BAD for dieting. I know that. I've always known it. 2am and I am having a half ounce of Hershey's chocolate to fight back against stress. Don't ask.

Yogurt for midnight munchies

I'm having a cup of strawberry-banana yogurt to cure the midnight munchies that I am having. That is about 210 calories in the cup of yogurt, not too bad. I'm munching it as I watch an episode of Doctor Who on Netflix.
